About the item
Description
The XM1014 brings fully automatic force to close-range rooms; its rapid wall of pellets gives the shotgun a fierce close-range character. For the Quicksilver treatment, it has been painted using a translucent hydrographic with a terrain map motif over metallic silver paint.
The artwork is distributed across the body so that broad panels and smaller mechanical details read as parts of one treatment.
History
The Quicksilver design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.
From its debut onward, the skin has been treated as a design of its own rather than a later recolor of another finish. On the XM1014, every Quicksilver condition and special edition refers back to the same original design.
Rarity
Among items from its release, XM1014 | Quicksilver is marked as Mil-Spec Grade. The label describes the work’s place in the hierarchy rather than the preservation of the selected variant.
The tier allows the work to be compared with other XM1014 finishes at the same level. Special editions do not receive a new rarity; their labels describe the version rather than its place in the hierarchy.
Characteristics
The Quicksilver treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.
On the XM1014, the Quicksilver treatment uses the Patina method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. Condition determines the neatness of the surface, but the artistic foundation stays the same.
Recognition
XM1014 | Quicksilver is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.
On the XM1014, the appeal of Quicksilver comes from the way artwork, surface, and silhouette support one another. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.
Availability
The principal editions of XM1014 | Quicksilver are standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. Available XM1014 conditions are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred; abrasion and smaller details change between them.
No dedicated container is listed for Quicksilver. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. Every pairing of edition and wear is treated independently, even when the visible differences appear small.
Origin
The route of Quicksilver into the catalog begins with its official game release. The release of this XM1014 variant is not tied to a particular case, leaving its original item group as the main source context.
The original release retained Quicksilver as a treatment for one specific model.
Versions
The standard edition has no kill counter; StatTrak™ records its owner's kills; the Souvenir edition is distinguished by its tournament-release origin.
Two examples may share the same wear yet differ by edition, so comparison always takes place in two steps. A shared artwork connects the XM1014 | Quicksilver family without erasing the differences between its available versions and conditions.
