About the item
Description
The XM1014 brings fully automatic force to close-range rooms; its rapid wall of pellets gives the shotgun a fierce close-range character. For the Irezumi treatment, painted and treated components are combined into one finish, balancing decorative detail with the underlying mechanical structure.
The decorative layer changes the surface character but preserves the familiar silhouette and readable construction.
History
The Irezumi design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.
The initial treatment came from Madara; later variants continue the same creative idea. On the XM1014, every Irezumi condition and special edition refers back to the same original design.
Rarity
The rarity tier assigned to XM1014 | Irezumi is Mil-Spec Grade. Every condition inherits the same tier because rarity is attached to the design itself.
For the XM1014, the label describes the skin’s position within the wider catalog. Special editions do not receive a new rarity; their labels describe the version rather than its place in the hierarchy.
Characteristics
The Irezumi treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.
On the XM1014, the Irezumi treatment uses the Gunsmith method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. Wear conditions differ in surface preservation, while the structure of the artwork remains consistent.
Recognition
XM1014 | Irezumi is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.
The expression of Irezumi on the XM1014 belongs to the whole composition, whose elements reinforce one another. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.
Availability
In the catalog, XM1014 | Irezumi appears in standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. By wear, the XM1014 covers Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so preservation depends on the selected variant.
No dedicated container is listed for Irezumi. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. The listed editions remain distinct variants even when they share the same wear condition.
Origin
Designers: Madara. The work appeared in the Steam Workshop as “XM 1014: Irezumi (CS2 Rework)”.
Versions
The available editions of XM1014 | Irezumi are standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. The standard edition has no kill counter; the StatTrak™ edition tracks its owner's kills; the Souvenir edition is distinguished by its tournament-release origin.
Edition describes the item’s added properties, while condition concerns the surface; the two should not be treated as interchangeable.
