About the item
Description
The USP-S combines a familiar sidearm with a removable suppressor; quiet shots and gentle recoil reward patient accuracy. For the Target Acquired treatment, a custom paint job of a map pattern overlayed with a bird's eye HUD has been applied.
The design uses the shape of the body without hiding the familiar transitions between the weapon components. Changing the viewing angle reveals smaller details gradually and prevents the surface from feeling uniform.
History
The Target Acquired design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.
From its debut onward, the skin has been treated as a design of its own rather than a later recolor of another finish. On the USP-S, every Target Acquired condition and special edition refers back to the same original design.
Rarity
Among items from its release, USP-S | Target Acquired is marked as Classified. The label describes the work’s place in the hierarchy rather than the preservation of the selected variant.
The tier allows the work to be compared with other USP-S finishes at the same level. Standard and special versions share one rarity even though their in-game traits and origins differ.
Characteristics
The Target Acquired treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.
On the USP-S, the Target Acquired treatment uses the Anodized Multicolored method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. Condition affects the clarity of edges and smaller details, but it leaves the central visual idea intact.
Recognition
USP-S | Target Acquired is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.
On the USP-S, the appeal of Target Acquired comes from the way artwork, surface, and silhouette support one another. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.
Availability
The USP-S | Target Acquired family includes standard edition and Souvenir. Surface condition on the USP-S is represented by Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, shaping each individual example.
No dedicated container is listed for Target Acquired. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. The listed editions remain distinct variants even when they share the same wear condition.
Origin
It belongs to these collections: The Control Collection.
Versions
The standard item comes without an added counter; the Souvenir edition is distinguished by its tournament-release origin.
Two examples may share the same wear yet differ by edition, so comparison always takes place in two steps. The variants inherit one USP-S | Target Acquired design without losing the differences created by edition and the condition of each item.
