StatTrak™ MAG-7 | Sonar (Factory New)

The compact MAG-7 brings strong close-range damage and quick reloading; its mobile character rewards aggressive positioning. For the Sonar treatment, it has been lightly stenciled in turquoise.

The surface avoids a flat appearance, leaving component boundaries and changes in material visible beneath the treatment. The main accents sit across the body, while working components retain a more restrained and readable appearance.

The Sonar design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.

From its debut onward, the skin has been treated as a design of its own rather than a later recolor of another finish. The MAG-7 variants of Sonar differ in preservation, yet all belong to the same original work.

Among items from its release, MAG-7 | Sonar is marked as Mil-Spec Grade. The label describes the work’s place in the hierarchy rather than the preservation of the selected variant.

In the MAG-7 item hierarchy, the finish retains its assigned classification. Standard and special versions share one rarity even though their in-game traits and origins differ.

The Sonar treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.

On the MAG-7, the Sonar treatment uses the Anodized Multicolored method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. Wear changes the preservation of individual areas, yet the underlying composition and its main idea remain recognizable.

MAG-7 | Sonar is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.

The expression of Sonar on the MAG-7 belongs to the whole composition, whose elements reinforce one another. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.

In the catalog, MAG-7 | Sonar appears in standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. By wear, the MAG-7 covers Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn, so preservation depends on the selected variant.

No dedicated container is listed for Sonar. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. The listed editions remain distinct variants even when they share the same wear condition.

The origin of Sonar begins with its original in-game release. This MAG-7 item entered the game without a dedicated container and retained its own release context.

The catalog ties Sonar to this particular model. The official release established the design’s place in the catalog and its connection with the original item group.

By edition, the MAG-7 | Sonar family consists of standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. The standard item comes without an added counter; the StatTrak™ edition tracks its owner's kills; the Souvenir edition belongs to a tournament release.

Two examples may share the same wear yet differ by edition, so comparison always takes place in two steps. The variants inherit one MAG-7 | Sonar design without losing the differences created by edition and the condition of each item.
