About the item

Description

The G3SG1 favors sustained sniper fire over freedom of movement; its high firing rate compensates for heavy handling and limited mobility. For the Scavenger treatment, originally green, parts of the weapon have been replaced with street signs and a tomato can.

Most of the artwork sits on the prominent panels, while smaller details support it without unnecessary visual noise. Close inspection reveals transitions between materials and separate parts, giving the treatment additional depth.

History

The Scavenger design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.

The release gave the design its own place and separated it from similar work introduced at a later date. On the G3SG1, every Scavenger condition and special edition refers back to the same original design.

Rarity

The rarity tier assigned to G3SG1 | Scavenger is Restricted. Every condition inherits the same tier because rarity is attached to the design itself.

Rarity belongs to the family as a whole rather than one G3SG1 example. Special editions do not receive a new rarity; their labels describe the version rather than its place in the hierarchy.

Characteristics

The Scavenger treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.

On the G3SG1, the Scavenger treatment uses the Gunsmith method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. Condition affects the clarity of edges and smaller details, but it leaves the central visual idea intact.

Recognition

G3SG1 | Scavenger is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.

The expression of Scavenger on the G3SG1 belongs to the whole composition, whose elements reinforce one another. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.

Availability

In the catalog, G3SG1 | Scavenger appears in standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. By wear, the G3SG1 covers Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so preservation depends on the selected variant.

No dedicated container is listed for Scavenger. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. A fair comparison needs both traits at once, since edition and condition each define a separate variant.

Origin

The first in-game release is the natural starting point for Scavenger. This G3SG1 item entered the game without a dedicated container and retained its own release context.

The origin of Scavenger is considered together with the model for which it was released.

Versions

This G3SG1 | Scavenger skin comes in standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. The regular edition retains the item’s base properties; the StatTrak™ edition adds a confirmed-kill counter; Souvenir marks the item as a tournament release.

Edition describes the item’s added properties, while condition concerns the surface; the two should not be treated as interchangeable.
