About the item
Description
The P90 combines a distinctive bullpup shape with a large magazine; low recoil and constant fire suit players who prefer movement. For the Deathgaze treatment, it has been custom painted with a graffiti-style Medusa over a Carrara marble base.
The decorative layer changes the surface character but preserves the familiar silhouette and readable construction. The main accents sit across the body, while working components retain a more restrained and readable appearance.
History
The Deathgaze design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.
The work was created by Blazer, and the in-game release retained that credit. The P90 variants of Deathgaze differ in preservation, yet all belong to the same original work.
Rarity
Within its original release, P90 | Deathgaze occupies the Classified tier. Rarity applies to the whole family: individual examples may look different, but their assigned level remains fixed.
The tier allows the work to be compared with other P90 finishes at the same level. The added properties of an edition do not change the tier assigned to the underlying artwork.
Characteristics
The Deathgaze treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.
On the P90, the Deathgaze treatment uses the Gunsmith method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. As wear increases, parts of the surface may lose definition without turning the treatment into a different design.
Recognition
P90 | Deathgaze is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.
The expression of Deathgaze on the P90 belongs to the whole composition, whose elements reinforce one another. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.
Availability
The available editions of P90 | Deathgaze are standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. The P90 wear range includes Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with each condition showing different surface preservation.
No dedicated container is listed for Deathgaze. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. Matching wear alone does not make two items the same version: edition comes first, followed by surface condition.
Origin
Designers: Blazer. The work appeared in the Steam Workshop as “P90 | Deathgaze”.
Versions
Edition divides P90 | Deathgaze into standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. The standard edition has no kill counter; the StatTrak™ edition tracks its owner's kills; the Souvenir edition is distinguished by its tournament-release origin.
A variant should be checked by edition before condition because the two traits never replace one another. The shared artwork connects the P90 | Deathgaze family, while edition-specific properties and surface condition belong to the individual item.
