About the item
Description
The AK-47 is defined by raw power and stubborn reliability; short controlled bursts reveal the rifle at its best. For the Aquamarine Revenge treatment, it has been custom painted with the image of a pod of dolphins.
The composition is built around the main body components and remains coherent when the weapon is viewed from different sides. Changing the viewing angle reveals smaller details gradually and prevents the surface from feeling uniform.
History
PoignantEnvy submitted the artwork to the Steam Workshop before its official release, and it entered the game with The Falchion Collection in 2015.
The design felt unusually bold for that period: instead of leaning on military restraint, it used a full illustrated scene that travels across the rifle's body. Its recognizable composition has remained intact ever since, tying the skin to an early wave of community-made CS:GO finishes.
Rarity
Within The Falchion Collection, this finish carries Covert rarity, the highest tier assigned to regular weapon skins in the set.
That label describes its place in the collection's internal hierarchy, but it does not guarantee a particular market value or a fixed number of listings. On the item page, rarity is most useful as a stable way to distinguish it from the more common finishes released in the same case.
Characteristics
The defining feature is a complete illustrated composition applied as a Custom Paint Job.
A pod of dolphins runs across the main body parts, while sharp outlines and dense artwork reinforce the aggressive profile of the AK-47. The image does not read like a separate decal placed on top of the weapon: it follows the receiver, magazine, and stock closely enough for the rifle to feel like one continuous piece.
Recognition
The finish is easy to recognize among AK-47 skins because its large illustrated scene remains readable at a glance. Its appeal comes from an expressive identity rather than restraint: the artwork stands out in hand and stays clear in the inventory without requiring close inspection.
The choice of weapon also matters, as the AK-47 remains central to Counter-Strike. Even players who do not follow every Falchion release often remember this design.
Availability
The family includes a standard edition and a StatTrak™ edition, with both offered in all five wear conditions from Factory New through Battle-Scarred.
The finish is associated with the Falchion Case, although a specific version is usually easier to locate through marketplace listings. Wear and the presence of the kill counter can change availability considerably, so offers for each edition should be compared separately.
Origin
The finish can be traced from PoignantEnvy's Steam Workshop submission to its inclusion in The Falchion Collection.
The standard edition can be obtained from the Falchion Case, while the Workshop page preserves the original community artwork and its submitted title. Together, these records provide a clear source trail and separate the skin's documented origin from later marketplace descriptions or player retellings.
Versions
There are two principal editions: the standard skin and StatTrak™, which records confirmed kills made by its owner.
Each edition appears in five wear conditions, giving the family ten distinct market variants. Wear changes how well the painted surface and its edges are preserved, but it does not merge one listing into another; condition and the presence of the counter remain separate traits when comparing offers.
