About the item
Description
The R8 Revolver delivers powerful accuracy through a deliberate trigger pull; fanning the hammer gives it a desperate answer at point-blank range. For the Memento treatment, the luxury of its ivory grip pairs well with the intricate metalwork on the frame, barrel, and cylinder.
The surface avoids a flat appearance, leaving component boundaries and changes in material visible beneath the treatment.
History
The Memento design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.
The game release remains the natural starting point for the skin's history and later variants. On the R8 Revolver, every Memento condition and special edition refers back to the same original design.
Rarity
The game catalog places R8 Revolver | Memento at Mil-Spec Grade rarity. Condition changes the surface, but it never moves the item into another release tier.
Within the R8 Revolver family, rarity provides a stable point of comparison. A special edition does not move the skin into another class because edition and rarity describe different traits.
Characteristics
The Memento treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.
On the R8 Revolver, the Memento treatment uses the Gunsmith method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. Wear conditions differ in surface preservation, while the structure of the artwork remains consistent.
Recognition
R8 Revolver | Memento is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.
On the R8 Revolver, the appeal of Memento comes from the way artwork, surface, and silhouette support one another. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.
Availability
The R8 Revolver | Memento family includes standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. Wear variants of the R8 Revolver include Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, each with its own degree of finish preservation.
No dedicated container is listed for Memento. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. The availability of one variant depends on its edition and condition together, not merely on the family name.
Origin
It belongs to these collections: The Shattered Web Collection.
Versions
The standard item comes without an added counter; StatTrak™ records its owner's kills; Souvenir identifies the item as a tournament keepsake.
Condition is considered after edition because regular and special versions remain distinct even when their wear matches. The variants inherit one R8 Revolver | Memento design without losing the differences created by edition and the condition of each item.
