About the item
Description
The Nova is an inexpensive shotgun that rewards a well-planned ambush; a close-range hit can deliver both stopping power and economic value. For the Rising Sun treatment, it has been custom painted to resemble a stained glass Japanese motif.
The surface avoids a flat appearance, leaving component boundaries and changes in material visible beneath the treatment. The overall appearance remains expressive without hiding the weapon geometry or the purpose of its major components.
History
The Rising Sun design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.
The finish credits Mia, whose original artwork underlies the released skin. Every Rising Sun condition on the Nova continues one design rather than forming a separate release.
Rarity
Within its original release, Nova | Rising Sun occupies the Restricted tier. Rarity applies to the whole family: individual examples may look different, but their assigned level remains fixed.
The tier allows the work to be compared with other Nova finishes at the same level. A special edition does not move the skin into another class because edition and rarity describe different traits.
Characteristics
The Rising Sun treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.
On the Nova, the Rising Sun treatment uses the Gunsmith method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. Abrasion touches individual zones and edges without disrupting the logic of the original composition.
Recognition
Nova | Rising Sun is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.
On the Nova, the appeal of Rising Sun comes from the way artwork, surface, and silhouette support one another. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.
Availability
The edition range for Nova | Rising Sun consists of standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. Available Nova conditions are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred; abrasion and smaller details change between them.
No dedicated container is listed for Rising Sun. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. Edition and condition describe different qualities, so matching wear does not merge separate versions.
Origin
It belongs to these collections: The Fever Collection. Designers: Mia. The work appeared in the Steam Workshop as “Nova | The rising sun (blue)”.
Versions
The Nova | Rising Sun family includes standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. Its base version carries no special tracking feature; the special StatTrak™ version is distinguished by an integrated counter; Souvenir preserves the traits of a tournament item.
A variant should be checked by edition before condition because the two traits never replace one another. Each variant is built on the Nova | Rising Sun artwork; edition and surface preservation remain qualities of the individual item.
