About the item
Description
The Nova is an inexpensive shotgun that rewards a well-planned ambush; a close-range hit can deliver both stopping power and economic value. For the Gila treatment, it has been covered in a lizard skin decal.
The decorative layer changes the surface character but preserves the familiar silhouette and readable construction. Changing the viewing angle reveals smaller details gradually and prevents the surface from feeling uniform.
History
The Gila design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.
From its debut onward, the skin has been treated as a design of its own rather than a later recolor of another finish. On the Nova, every Gila condition and special edition refers back to the same original design.
Rarity
Among items from its release, Nova | Gila is marked as Restricted. The label describes the work’s place in the hierarchy rather than the preservation of the selected variant.
In the Nova item hierarchy, the finish retains its assigned classification. A special edition does not move the skin into another class because edition and rarity describe different traits.
Characteristics
The Gila treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.
On the Nova, the Gila treatment uses the Anodized Multicolored method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. The degree of wear changes how the design reads without replacing its motif or application method.
Recognition
Nova | Gila is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.
The expression of Gila on the Nova belongs to the whole composition, whose elements reinforce one another. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.
Availability
By version type, Nova | Gila appears as standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. Surface condition on the Nova is represented by Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested, shaping each individual example.
No dedicated container is listed for Gila. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. The availability of one variant depends on its edition and condition together, not merely on the family name.
Origin
It belongs to these collections: The Glove Collection.
Versions
The variant catalog for Nova | Gila begins with standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. Its base version carries no special tracking feature; the StatTrak™ edition adds a confirmed-kill counter; Souvenir marks the item as a tournament release.
Two examples may share the same wear yet differ by edition, so comparison always takes place in two steps. Every Nova | Gila variant follows the same artistic foundation, although edition and surface preservation distinguish individual examples.
