About the item
Description
The Negev is a demanding machine gun made for sustained suppression; time and control turn its wild opening fire into accurate pressure. It has been spray painted with a randomized lionfish pattern.
The design uses the shape of the body without hiding the familiar transitions between the weapon components. During inspection, the treatment reads clearly across the larger components without obscuring controls or body boundaries.
History
The Lionfish design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.
Its first release remains the starting point from which the rest of the skin family developed. Across the Negev family, Lionfish keeps one artistic foundation while condition changes only the individual surface.
Rarity
In the item catalog, Negev | Lionfish is classified as Restricted. The classification is shared by every variant even when their surfaces show different preservation.
For the Negev, the label describes the skin’s position within the wider catalog. A special edition does not move the skin into another class because edition and rarity describe different traits.
Characteristics
The Lionfish treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.
On the Negev, the Lionfish treatment uses the Spray-Paint method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. Condition determines the neatness of the surface, but the artistic foundation stays the same.
Recognition
Negev | Lionfish is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.
A clear visual rhythm keeps Lionfish from disappearing beside other finishes made for the Negev. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.
Availability
The principal editions of Negev | Lionfish are standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. Available Negev conditions are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred; abrasion and smaller details change between them.
No dedicated container is listed for Lionfish. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. Matching wear alone does not make two items the same version: edition comes first, followed by surface condition.
Origin
It belongs to these collections: The Clutch Collection.
Versions
The variant catalog for Negev | Lionfish begins with standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. Its base version carries no special tracking feature; the StatTrak™ edition adds a confirmed-kill counter; Souvenir marks the item as a tournament release.
Edition establishes the kind of variant, while condition describes its surface. Both are needed for an accurate comparison.
