The MP9 is a light ergonomic submachine gun made for rapid movement; its fast firing rhythm gives close fights an energetic pace. It has been custom painted to resemble a tarlike goo obscuring a grey base.

The surface avoids a flat appearance, leaving component boundaries and changes in material visible beneath the treatment. During inspection, the treatment reads clearly across the larger components without obscuring controls or body boundaries.

The Goo design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.

Its story is best understood through the release itself and the group of finishes that arrived around it. The MP9 variants of Goo differ in preservation, yet all belong to the same original work.
