About the item
Description
The scoped AUG combines power, accuracy, and a rapid rate of fire; its measured spread compensates for a lengthy reload. For the Death by Puppy treatment, a multicolored Pop Dog pattern has been applied.
Most of the artwork sits on the prominent panels, while smaller details support it without unnecessary visual noise. Changing the viewing angle reveals smaller details gradually and prevents the surface from feeling uniform.
History
The Death by Puppy design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants.
The finish entered the item catalog as a separate design with its own range of variants. The AUG variants of Death by Puppy differ in preservation, yet all belong to the same original work.
Rarity
Within its original release, AUG | Death by Puppy occupies the Classified tier. Rarity applies to the whole family: individual examples may look different, but their assigned level remains fixed.
On the AUG, this tier distinguishes the work from artwork assigned to other levels. When variants are compared, rarity should be kept separate from edition and wear because each describes a different part of the item.
Characteristics
The Death by Puppy treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.
On the AUG, the Death by Puppy treatment uses the Anodized Multicolored method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. As wear increases, parts of the surface may lose definition without turning the treatment into a different design.
Recognition
AUG | Death by Puppy is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.
The expression of Death by Puppy on the AUG belongs to the whole composition, whose elements reinforce one another. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.
Availability
The available editions of AUG | Death by Puppy are standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. The AUG wear range includes Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn, with each condition showing different surface preservation.
No dedicated container is listed for Death by Puppy. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. Edition and condition describe different qualities, so matching wear does not merge separate versions.
Origin
It belongs to these collections: The CS20 Collection.
Versions
The standard edition has no kill counter; StatTrak™ is fitted with a kill counter; the Souvenir edition belongs to a tournament release.
A variant should be checked by edition before condition because the two traits never replace one another. A shared artwork connects the AUG | Death by Puppy family without erasing the differences between its available versions and conditions.
