About the item

Description

The AK-47 is defined by raw power and stubborn reliability; short controlled bursts reveal the rifle at its best. For the Redline treatment, it has been painted using a carbon fiber hydrographic and a dry-transfer decal of a red pinstripe.

The surface avoids a flat appearance, leaving component boundaries and changes in material visible beneath the treatment. The main accents sit across the body, while working components retain a more restrained and readable appearance.

History

The Redline design joined the Counter-Strike catalog as a distinct work with its own family of variants. The release left the weapon’s role untouched and focused entirely on a new treatment of its surface.

The finish credits emkay, whose original artwork underlies the released skin. The AK-47 variants of Redline differ in preservation, yet all belong to the same original work.

Rarity

The game catalog places AK-47 | Redline at Classified rarity. Condition changes the surface, but it never moves the item into another release tier.

Within the AK-47 family, rarity provides a stable point of comparison. The added properties of an edition do not change the tier assigned to the underlying artwork.

Characteristics

The Redline treatment works with that character instead of burying the item's form beneath decoration.

On the AK-47, the Redline treatment uses the Custom Paint Job method, shaping the way the image meets its material and geometry. Condition affects the clarity of edges and smaller details, but it leaves the central visual idea intact.

Recognition

AK-47 | Redline is easy to recognize through the pairing of a familiar silhouette with a distinct surface treatment. Its identity does not depend on inspecting tiny details.

On the AK-47, the appeal of Redline comes from the way artwork, surface, and silhouette support one another. Condition adds another visible distinction: cleaner examples preserve more of the original detail, while abrasion gives the same design a rougher, quieter character.

Availability

In the catalog, AK-47 | Redline appears in standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. Surface condition on the AK-47 is represented by Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, shaping each individual example.

No dedicated container is listed for Redline. Its available editions and conditions are still treated separately. A fair comparison needs both traits at once, since edition and condition each define a separate variant.

Origin

It belongs to these collections: The Phoenix Collection. Designers: emkay. The work appeared in the Steam Workshop as “AK-47 | Elegant-Red - v1.1 (Redline)”.

Versions

The AK-47 | Redline family includes standard edition, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. The regular version is issued without a kill counter; the StatTrak™ edition adds a confirmed-kill counter; Souvenir preserves the traits of a tournament item.

Condition is considered after edition because regular and special versions remain distinct even when their wear matches. Each variant is built on the AK-47 | Redline artwork; edition and surface preservation remain qualities of the individual item.
